What User Permissions are required for VMware vCenter access for VADP backup / restore?
Answer
For complete vCenter protection, credentials with Administrative permissions on the local machine and credentials with Administrative permissions on vCenter Server are required.
If the vCenter is on a Windows environment, the Domain Administrator credentials should be fine.
If the backup / restore user account other than Administrator is used, ensure that the following permissions are assigned to the user account:
