Unless other wise stated this are the ONLY standard retentation levels we need to configure on customers backup sets:
System State – 5 Days Time Backup – 3 Versions
Files, Data – Daily Backup – 1 Version per Day for 5 days – 1 version per week for 4 weeks – 1 version per Month for 1 year
*** Files, Data – Daily Backup – 1 Version per Day for 5 days – 1 version per week for 4 weeks – 1 version per Month
ONLY IF: customer wants less then a year try 6/3 montss ret. But not less then 1 month.
SQL, EXH,PST- 1 version per day for 5 days – 1 version per week for 3 weeks – total 8 version
*** Versions for backup of backup data type: after 3 days deleted data will be deleted from the Asigra System
Deleted Files Policy:
Trash: NO trash will be available for customers in the Asigra Trash.
any file deleted from the customer computer, unless it is included in backup of backup type policy, we will keep 1 version of the file for 1 month.
